Bay Motel - Byron Bay

everything was simply great. it was a really great stay for two nights in school holidays. location: the hotel was close enough to beach, cafes, restaurants and shops, the main street & restaurants, and the beachfront. it also was in centre of town.

Stayed for two nights during school holidays with my three kids, and we had a fantastic time at this venue located conveniently near pubs and restaurants.

Curtains let a lot of light through, noise from other people could be heard clearly in room.

We found the Bay Motel to be an absolute gem! the location couldn't be more perfect, right in front of the stunning bayfront and just steps away from the beach. the price was incredibly competitive, especially considering the prime location. As a family, we loved the spacious and beautifully appointed suite, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the owners of the motel were also incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in the heart of all the action, look no further than the Bay Motel.

Not much really, the only thing was that it was convenient to the shops and beach.

I thought the staff were quite cordial on arrival but charged me another $20 for two beds on top of the original fee although I had requested two single beds. The woman was very rude when we requested the gate to be opened just after 9pm and were told to go around the back and the parking was really tight and very hard to manouver. The furnishings were very outdated and there was no extras in the room such as packaged biscuits, shampoo and conditioner. The whole room was unwelcoming and very cold and the bed linen was appalling, just one thin blanket. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone and we were lucky that we had only one night there.

The location was super and unbelievable and I could use free parking onsite. The hotel was set in a beautiful area.

Great location opposite the beach with easy access to everything. Comfortable, clean, and spacious room with microwave and kettle. Helpful and polite manager. Newly renovated and very clean. Cute restaurants nearby and beautiful beach music in the afternoon.

It's central to main beach, to nightlife, to shopping, to dining

The sanitation of the toilet wasn't good enough, I smelled pungent odor of urine. It was good thing I always bring my hospital grade antibacterial liquid so I sprayed on the toilet seats, toilet area and killed all bacteria causing bad smell and I felt better in using the toilet.

Great location opposite the main beach, close to restaurants. Friendly managers and cheerful cleaning staff. Spacious, comfortable room with all necessary amenities. Super clean. Tight parking, but mostly quiet at night.

Great place with a nice view of the bay. It's located close to all the shops, cafes, and the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, making it easy to find something to eat. Plus, it's not far from a cute little market where you can find unique items. 🌅

The location was great for the little boys in the family. The proprietors wer friendly and helpful.

It was convenient and the staff were welcoming

My recent stay at Bay Motel was fantastic. Check-in was easy, and I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a hairdryer, iron, microwave, fridge. They even provided towels for the beach, a nice touch. The motel's location is amazing, and having parking available was a bonus. I was pleased with my stay and would definitely book again. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, I highly recommend this hotel.
